1. Day 1
   St. Petersburg

   Welcome aboard our comfortable ship. After boarding and checking-in at the reception desk, crew members take you to the cabin, where you can have free time to relax and prepare for an exciting journey. While the ship is docked in Saint Petersburg you will have a variety of optional tours offered. The first day might be a full day on your own. Dinner aboard.

2. Day 2
   St. Petersburg

   Enjoy the city center of Saint Petersburg. The Palace Square, the Winter Palace and the Admiralty, St. Isaac's Cathedral and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, unique monuments to Russian emperors will leave no one cold.

3. Day 3
   St. Petersburg

   There will be more of the city & the Hermitage tour today. The Hermitage occupies a very special place among the art museums of the world and is must-see for tourists coming to the city for the first time. Now its collections include more than 3.5 million exhibits. There are the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, ancient sculpture, Egyptian antiquities, a real mummy and much more among them.

4. Day 4
   River Village Mandrogi

   The village of Upper Mandrogs is located on the banks of the Svir River, the most beautiful river in the North-Western part of Russia, between the Ladoga and Onega Lakes. This place is considered to be one of the most beautiful and ecologically clean places in the Leningrad Region. Here you can combine a rich program of outdoor activities with a pleasant pastime in the old interiors of a village tavern or hut, and visit the wonderful Museum of Russian Vodka. During your stay, you can visit the Handicraft settlement, where you will be introduced to traditional Russian crafts: painting on wood, including nesting dolls, weaving and pottery, woodcarving, lace-making. You can take a master class in any of the workshops. Both adults and children are happy to learn Russian national crafts and take home their own products.

5. Day 5
   Kizhi

   Passing through 6 locks of the Volga-Baltic Canal, our ship will cross from south to north one of the largest lakes in Europe - Lake Onega, to take you to the pearl of our cruise - the island of Kizhi, the world famous open-air museum. The island ensemble, which is under the protection of UNESCO, represents the architectural style of the Russian north and consists of churches of 11-19 centuries, chapels, bell towers, peasant houses, barns, senniki, windmills and baths. In the center of the museum is a unique 22-domed wooden church, built, according to legend, without a single nail by the local architect Nestor in 1714. According to legend, after construction, Nestor threw his ax into the waters of Lake Onega and said: «Such a church has never been before and will never be after!»

6. Day 6
   Goritsy

   In the small village of Goritsy, located on the banks of the Sheksna River, there is a river pier, from where a bus excursion starts tour to the city of Kirillov, to the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery. With the opening of the Volga-Baltic Canal, this ancient village became known to thousands of people thanks to the ensemble of the Voskresensky Goritsky monastery, located at the foot of Mount Maura and founded in 1544 by aunt of Ivan the Terrible, Efrosinia Staritskaya. The Kirillo- Belozersky Monastery is located 8 kilometers from the village of Goritsy and it is a monument of great artistic significance. It was founded in 1397 by the monk Kirill, who came to these places from Moscow at the behest of the Most Holy Theotokos. In the period of greatest prosperity (15-17 centuries), Russian tsars and noble nobles came here with prayers and rich gifts. It was here that Ivan the Terrible's father came to pray for the heir. The monastery was the richest cultural, religious and educational center. During the tour you will visit the territory of the monastery and museum exhibits.

7. Day 7
   Yaroslavl

   A sightseeing tour of Yaroslavl will introduce you to the numerous monuments and museums of this city. Yaroslavl is absolutely worth seeing, it is the largest city of the Golden Ring of Russia, more ancient than Moscow (first mentioned in 1071). The city is named after the famous Prince Yaroslav the Wise, who, according to legend, killed a bear with a battle ax in the forest, which was worshiped by local pagans, and founded the first wooden city in this place, the bear and ax became its symbol.
   During a sightseeing bus tour, we will visit the UNESCO-protected Church of Elijah the Prophet, whose arches are decorated with icons and frescoes of the 17th century and the territory of the magnificent 13th-century ensemble of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery. We will see a group of majestic cathedrals of the 17th century, the newly built gold-domed Assumption Cathedral, destroyed after the revolution, the graceful rotunda and the remains of an ancient shopping center, we will walk along the embankment to the arrow, the place where the Kotorosl River flows into the Volga.

8. Day 8
   Uglich

   The city of Uglich, founded in 1148, is located in a place of rare beauty, the place where the Volga makes a sharp bend, forming a kind of corner (from which it got its name). During a walking tour you will visit the Uglich Kremlin Architectural Complex, which consists of two churches, the Chamber of Specific Princes, the Transfiguration Cathedral and, of course, the Church of St. Dmitry Tsarevich on Blood (Much has happened to Uglich, but the main event that had happened on May 15, 1591 overturned the city's history. On that day Prince Dmitry, an eight-year-old son of Ivan the Terrible, was killed on this day and found dead in the garden in mysterious circumstances). Here you can taste the most delicious Uglich cheese, quench your thirst with the purest Uglich water from a local source and buy the world-famous Uglich watch «Chayka» («The Seagull»).

9. Day 9
   Moscow

   Today we have the morning tour of the Kremlin. The Kremlin is the main relic and pride of Moscow. It is located in the very center of the capital of Russia near the Moscow River. There’s the Red Square is on one side of the Kremlin, and the Alexander Garden is on the opposite side. The complex has great historical, cultural and socio-political significance. The center of the Kremlin is the Cathedral Square, a unique complex of masterpieces of medieval architecture. There is also the famous Czar Cannon of the 16th century and the Czar Bell of the 18th centure on Kremlin grounds.

10. Day 10
    Moscow

    The best idea to feel the atmosphere of Moscow is visiting its heart – the city center: Tverskaya Street, Red Square with St. Basil's Cathedral, Bolshoi Theater, Novodevichy Convent and Moscow State University for a panoramic view.
    The itinerary of Moscow city-tour is highly dependent upon traffic jams - the jams are hard to predict and they might be quite heavy.

11. Day 11
    Moscow

    After breakfast, you can pack your bags and, if necessary, order a transfer to the hotel, train station or airport.
