The Viking "Waterways of the Stars" was a wonderful vacation and met all of my expectations. Viking provided a stress-free way to see a beautiful country in which I did not speak the language.
The food aboard the Truvor was OK but not up to the standard on our previous Viking Danube tour. The ship docks very, very far from the center of St. Petersburg and Moscow, requiring inordinate time riding the bus.
We were very happy with the services provided by Affordable Tours. I will feel comfortable using this agency again in the future.
Russia, plus Finland, were great. Very clean. Beautiful buildings, churches, etc. People friendly enough. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in both countries.
Great weather, great accommodations, overall great trip. Ship was recently refurbished and other than some issues with the AC, especially at night, very accommodating. Crew can be commended on treating us very well.
