Day 1: Depart home gateway city to Cairo

Day 2: Cairo
Be greeted by a Uniworld representative and transfer to the Cairo Marriott and Casino Hotel.* * An upgrade will be available from the Cairo Marriott to the FourSeasons Nile Plaza Hotel in Cairo for $599 per person, based on doubleoccupancy; $1,199 for a single. Day 3: Cairo
Drive to Memphis to admire the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. Then come face-to-face with the enigmatic Sphinx and the magnificent Pyramids on a guided tour of Giza. You'll conclude your day in Cairo at the Egyptian Museum an unrivaled warehouse of Pharaonic treasures, including artifacts recovered from the tomb of King Tut. (BB)

Day 4: Fly to Luxor, cruising the Nile, Dendera

Day 7: Kom Ombo, cruising the Nile, Aswan

Later, sail in a traditional felucca around Aswan's Botanical Gardens. In the evening, have fun at an onboard Nubian show. (BB, L, D)
