Dining
All meals aboard are prepared by local chefs under the guidance of our European management team. Meals are open seating during set meal times—no table reservations are accepted. Room service is not available. Guests requiring special diets such as vegetarian, low salt, diabetic or low cholesterol meals must alert Viking River Cruises one month prior to departure and inform the Maitre d’ when on board. The chefs will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requests.
Age Restrictions
Due to the nature of their cruise itineraries, Viking River Cruises does not maintain facilities or services for children aboard river cruise vessels. On all cruises and cruise journeys, minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied and share a cabin with a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult over the age of 21. Viking river cruises reserve the right to limit the number of minors under the age of 18 years on board.
Tipping
It is customary to give cruise gratuities, subject to your satisfaction of services rendered. Gratuities on board and on land are not included in your tour price.

The Restaurant seats all guests at tables which vary in size, accommodating 6, 8 or 10 guests per table. The dining room is open seating, so you are free to sit where you like a great way to make new friends. The atmosphere is casual but elegant, with high-quality table linens, china, cutlery and glassware. Located on the Middle Deck.
Aquavit Terrace
The Aquavit Terrace is a glorious outdoor seating area at the bow of the ship where you can have a casual meal al fresco, meet friends for drinks or read a book, all while enjoying breathtaking views and basking in the fresh air. Located on the Upper Deck.
Bar
The bar is lively and inviting - a gathering place for guests to view the scenery, have a drink and catch up on the day with friends. Located on the Upper Deck.
Boutique
Forget to bring something? Looking for a magazine or some gift items? The onboard boutique has everything you need to make your voyage comfortable and convenient. Located on the Middle Deck.

The library has comfortable seating, excellent reading light and lovely panoramic views. Carries approximately 80 books, in various languages but mostly English, and several games such as chess, backgammon and playing cards. Located on the Upper Deck.
Observation Lounge
This is where friends meet for a drink or snack, where lectures and movie nights take place. Watch as the glass walls roll silently away to form an indoor-outdoor space where you can enjoy the fresh breeze. Located on the Upper Deck.
Walking Track
Enjoy sunshine and fresh air while you take in 360-degree views of the scenery on the walking track. Located on the Sun Deck.Everything went exactly as planned. There were no issues with travel, transfers, or accommodations. Our travel consultant at Affordable Tours kept us informed along the way.
