Dining
All breakfasts are American-style buffets. Most other meals onshore will be held at local restaurants with Chinese cuisine. Please notify Uniworld immediately if there are any special dietary concerns or considerations that need to be taken into account while traveling with them. They will do their best to ensure your request is accommodated but cannot guarantee this will happen in all cases. Wine can be purchased in most restaurants.
Age Restrictions
Passengers who are under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 years of age or older. Uniworld's long-term experience is that most young children (especially those under 8 years of age) do not enjoy or appreciate the river cruise experience. There are no special arrangements, activities, or accommodations for children on Uniworld river cruises and tour programs. An exception to this is our Multigenerational Family-Friendly Cruise Program, which is offered on select itineraries during the summer months. Please contact your travel agent for more details. Adults accompanying children are responsible for their behavior during the trip.
Tipping
It is our goal to ensure that the service you receive is as wonderful as the sights you see. While they are customary, gratuities, including the customary end-of-trip gratuity for the tour manager, cruise manager and crew, are not included in the price of your trip. The amount of the gratuity is entirely subject to your satisfaction with your travel experience.

Discover inner peace and pamper yourself with a relaxing massage. Located on the Lower Deck.Cabins were very small and I ended up upgrading to a suite. Meals were the only objectionable part of the trip. A western option should have been available , not everyone is able to eat spicy foods at every meal !!! Nor is it particularly pleasant after a few days. I had serious problems with my stomach, and so did my wife.
The "trip", or maybe the "cultural experience" was tremendous. It exceeded expectations.
