Join friends in the Lounge for a cocktail from our full-service bar, dance the night away or enjoy our nightly entertainment. The Patio Lounge offers a more casual area with rattan chairs and tables. Early morning coffee is served here. The Sky Lounge, on the top deck, offers a pleasant glass-sheltered area with tables and comfortable chairs. On the Sun Deck, you can view the passing scenery regardless of the weather. With plenty of deck chairs and umbrellas, it’s a great place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. |

Deluxe outside cabins aboard the River Empress are spacious, at
154 sq ft. All staterooms are non-smoking, with panoramic views, and include:
- Hotel-style beds which can be positioned as
two twin beds, or converted into one queen-size bed
- A cozy sitting area by the window with two
chairs and a vanity
- Ample closet space
- Direct dial telephone and remote-control color
TV, with local and satellite channels, onboard programs and videos
- Individual air-conditioning and heating
controls
- Private bathroom with shower, and hair dryer
- An in-cabin safe
- A terry cloth robe for each guest, as an extra
touch of luxury

- Rhine deck cabins (category 1) have
two floor-to-ceiling windows

two smaller windows

European river cruise ships, the 4 suites aboard the River Empress
are extremely spacious, at 230 sq ft. All suites are non-smoking, outside with
panoramic views, and include:
