Dining
The spacious Restaurant offers an elegant dining experience and caters to all tastes with daily buffets, a choice of menus and special theme dinners. Vegetarian meals are available, and a selection of international wines is included with dinner; beer and soft drinks are also included with lunch and dinner. Alternative bistro dining is a first on Europe's rivers - it is available in the Lido Bar in the stern.
Age Restrictions
Based upon Tauck's experience with family travelers, for each itinerary Tauck has a minimum recommended age to encourage comfort and enjoyment for all of their guests. Please ask the age restriction for your itinerary at the time of booking your Tauck journey. All children must be accompanied on activities by a parent or guardian. At least one guest in the traveling party must be 21 years of age or older in order to make a reservation. For safety and security purposes, children under 18 years of age must be booked into a room with at least one accompanying adult.
Tipping
All appropriate gratuities for luggage handling, bellmen, doormen, dining room server, ship staff, and drivers are included. Tauck Directors and Tauck Cruise Directors are included on all European riverboat cruises.

It had rained earlier and when Tauck lowered the metal gangplank, they did not dry it off. My husband slipped and seriously injured his knee. There were no medical facilities whatsoever on the ship; no aspirin, no "wraps" or other help. Luckily, one of the other passengers gave us an Ace Bandage wrap she had brought and another gave us some pain pills. Tauck should have had people standing by to help us down the gang plank and they certainly should have dried it first. We have been on the Tauck Galapagos Islands tour and even with all the disembarkation on slippery, wet rocks, Tauck provided people to hold our arms etc so that no one ever slipped.
